No — adult-only classes are designed for people in their 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond, and absolute-beginner tracks assume zero prior experience. London has a strong adult-beginner scene across salsa, ballet, hip-hop, contemporary and barre.

A drop-in single class in London is typically £8–£15 per drop-in. Term courses (6–12 weeks) usually work out cheaper per class. Many studios offer a free or discounted first class.

Not for most styles. Ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, jazz and barre are solo. Even partnered styles like salsa, bachata and ballroom usually run partner-rotation classes — you turn up alone and rotate through the group.
