Posting a job — common questions

How long is a listing live? +

30 days for Single and Boosted posts. Bundle slots stay live for 30 days each and you can add Boost to any slot for half price. If your role fills early, just let us know — we'll keep your remaining bundle slots available for the next opening.

How do applicants reach me? +

You choose: an external apply URL (your ATS, Google Form, Indeed page), an email address, or a WhatsApp link. Every click is logged so you can see which channel is converting before you commit budget elsewhere.

What's in the weekly newsletter? +

Boosted listings appear at the top of our Friday digest, sent to every instructor who signed up via the jobs hub. That's working teachers actively looking — not the wider student list. Average open rate is north of 40%.

Do you take a cut if I hire someone? +

No placement fees, no commission on salary. The listing price is the entire cost. We're a posting board, not a recruiter.

Can I edit a listing after it goes live? +

Yes — title, description, comp, apply link can all be edited any time during the 30-day window. Major changes (different role, different city) need a fresh post so applicants aren't misled.

What if I don't get any applicants? +

If a Boosted listing gets fewer than 5 qualified clicks in its first 14 days, we'll extend it by 30 days for free and personally promote it across our channels. We'd rather make it work than refund and lose the relationship.

Do you support agency / school / freelance roles? +

All three. Filter chips on the board let teachers narrow by employment type, hours, and pay structure, so a part-time pre-school role and a full-time touring company contract reach different shortlists.

Can I post anonymously? +

Yes — pick a generic studio name (e.g. "Established Manchester studio") and route applications via us. We forward qualified applies to you and only share the studio name once you've responded. Useful when you don't want existing staff to see the role.
